Getting worried about my lovely bunny

Hi all

I'm just after some advice please? I've got a very big flemish giant who lives with a tiny scrap of a rabbit, I got them bonded from the rescue about four years ago, they came in as adults and we weren't sure of their ages.
Flemish Giant has always kind of flopped out lengthways so both his legs are to the same side when he's lying down, in the past couple of months I've noticed when I go in and he gets up, hes struggling a bit more, and he might wobble over but then be fine after a few minutes, I put it down to old age.
But he's now getting worse and worse, yesterday he was dragging himself around with his front paws and wouldn't use his back legs at all, he couldn't even right himself. I helped him up and today although wobbly he's on his feet. Up until yesterday he's been really clean around his back end but not so this morning.

I'm going to have to take him to the vets and make a horrid decision aren't I? Sad

Hi Just wishes, we had an eight year old rabbit who suddenly developed problems with her hind legs, she was also a bit incontinent for a few days and would wee over us. The vet thought perhaps it was a stroke. She recovered most of the use of her legs. She used to drag one of her hind legs but only slightly, it was more that it didn't always move with her. The vet said it wasn't causing her any pain and she lived quite happily for another six months or so.

Hopefully your rabbit may make a bit of a recovery.

She did have ongoing issues with cleaning her rear end and I used to stand her in a bowl of warm water and clean her rear. She would be quite accepting of this and keep her front legs up on my chest so hardly any of her got wet.
