Cat with renal failure

It has been a tricky week as my lovely little cat is at the vets having fluids. She has been diagnosed with renal failure and the vet has already warned me that the prognosis is poor.

Does anyone have any experiences of having a cat with this kitten?

Have a look at this website. Might be worth looking at the litter tray topic here and moving this thread to there?
How old is your cat?

Friend my darling childhood cat died of this, she was 16 and a great beautiful cat. She didn't last two nights, it was really quick. She didn't seem to be in any pain. I still miss her and it was 18 years ago now.

((hugs)).

Ahhh sorry I hadn't realised this wasn't the car section.

SHe is about 14.. the vet seems to think we might be able to take her home for a bit.

My cat is about 14 as well and he was diagnosed with renal insufficiency few months ago. Had to have iv with fluids. He's ok with pills and special diet.

If your has kidney failure...I don't know, tbh. I'm sorry Sad
