Sad it's only about 3, no problems with it at all, no signs of ill health. Just been out to feed him and he's just dead. How can they go so suddenly?! What do I do ? Dh not here and can't bring myself to touch it.

What a shame.

They sometimes have heart attacks or strokes and pop off unexpectedly I'm afraid.

Can you wrap him up in a towel to handle him? Or if you can bring yourself to touch him once, you might find it's OK.

CrazyHorse · 04/03/2011 21:46

Why would you want to handle him?

Wait until the morning and get DH to bury it with the DC, and have a nice funeral.

Pterosaur · 04/03/2011 21:53

Depends when DH is due back I guess. If he's back tonight, then sure, leave him be.
