Why on earth would anyone NEED baby ferrets?

My Dad NEEDS baby ferrets. I told him to contact RSPCA/our vets and rescue a ferret, but apparently they must be baby ferrets.

He won't tell me why he needs ferrets. I have a terrier with a massive prey drive, so I doubt he needs them for ratting, plus surely adults would be better than babies?

Money to be made from rabbits...

Hmm, perhaps. I'm not sure he is into hunting rabbits though. He likes animals, although that would be something he wouldn't tell me about.

yes quite possibly rabbits - I have a friend back in school who had ferrets for rabbiting (or whatever the term is)
