Sex addiction

Can people overcome sext addiction? Partner has secretely cheated on me with many women for years I have only found out. Therapist says it is sex addiction. Can he change?

He can’t change from being a cheat. Leave him.

Just seen this thread. Well, the good news is that change is most definitely possible, as it is with all addictions. I have a lot of experience in this area unfortunately, PM me if you want to.

But one thing - recovery is his journey, not yours, and he needs to want it. You can do absolutely zero to help him get to that point - and that's hard to accept, I know.
