Felt this was the most relevant place to post.
I have a smartphone addiction, and I'm not even using Instagram/Facebook/whatever. Still addicted to reading the news and forums, and browsing online clothes shops (desperately trying to resist purchases, which was a major issue for me a few years back)
I know a smartphone addiction is not "up there" compared to substance abuse for example, but it is definitely negatively affecting my life.
I also thought this could potentially be useful knowledge for those addicted to gambling apps.
A yeah, apparently there is something called a Bloom Card? You pay once for it, set it up how you like, and then tap your phone to block selected apps and websites.
I'm thinking to leave my card at my office or a relative's house. It's when I'm home that my addiction becomes an issue.
Anyway. Anyone had any experience? Are they good? Do they function?
