I work for a charity that supports people in addiction, make the brave first step and self refer if you haven’t already. There is prescriptions out there that can get you to a therapeutic dose so that you’re not using heroin. Depending where you’re from, I’m from the UK and there is turning point and change grow live (CGL). Heroin users will be put on either methadone/physeptone or espranor, some places do buvidal injections too. In time, when you’re ready, you can reduce your dose and be completely free. It is important you attend 1:1 sessions, group therapy etc, they can support with rehab too.

I don’t have any wise advice (I wish I did), but you are taking a strong and important step. I want to put in here that I have 3 friends who were heroin addicts and I do not doubt how hard the road is, but a heroin free life is possible and waiting for you. They did it and I am sure you can. 💐
