Should I ring the other doctor?

I’m 26 weeks pregnant and been cutting down off codeine since I got pregnant I was on 8 per day and Iv cut down with the help of two doctors, one male doctor one female, the female was much more pushy making me do it faster and faster and the male doctor wasn’t he said we can take our time until the withdrawals go away then cut down another one. So two weeks ago I was cut down ti 3 per day: 5 days later 2 per day, I rang up but neither doctor was available so I got a random one and I told her I am not managing on 3 a day let alone 2 a day! She told me to take 3 per day until my next app two days later; so the female doctor rings again and cuts me down to even less! I’m not managing and Iv went back into 3 per day. My next app is Wednesday with the male doctor and I plan to tell him how poorly I am on the verge of admitting myself to the hospital I can’t carry on this way ahd I’m certain it’s not good for my baby! My midwife said withdrawal is not good for baby and was getting a drug and alcohol midwife to call me but they haven’t yet. I don’t feel Iv done too badly but this female doctor is going way too fast I can’t keep up with her. Should I ring the male doctor today and keep it at 3 for now?
