Does anyone have any experience in or tips for finding a low cost rehab in the UK or abroad?
My 28yo brother is a cocaine addict and an alcoholic, he has been many years now. It's crippling my parents and has caused years of panic an upset. He can sort himself out for a few weeks or months but it always ends In relapse.
He's been in contact with services for over a year but hasn't been able to access any real help. At this point, he is desperate to go to rehab but it seems impossible to get an NHS place. We are considering funding privately but have no idea where to start, we'd be happy to send him abroad or in the UK but a lot of the places I'm seeing are £2-3k a week, and I feel he'd need to be there a long time which worries me.
Iknow he could go and it might not work, I know it's not a miracle etc etc, but this is what we'd like to do. Any advice much appreciated!
