Can anyone recommend me some reading for dealing with the emotions of having a family member using drugs please?

because it is my son, I am struggling with finding a balance between being his mum and enabling him. It is tearing our family unit apart, and my physical and mental health is suffering. I've tried everything that I can think of doing, and I reckon now is the time to get some proper advice.

Hello
The adfam forum is very useful. It's been suspended pending a relaunch (too many addicts posting when it's meant for families of users) but you might find the old threads useful. See adfam.org.uk/help-for-families/finding-support/forum I am sorry you are going through this.

@notaflyingmonkey
It's really hard.
Personally I found a local support group really helpful to me, when dd got involved in drug use.
Sadly drug addiction affects all the family not just the addict.
Take Care of yourself.
