Dark brown liquid eyeliner- help!

Desperately looking for a holy grail dark brown liquid eyeliner for my wedding make up!

Day to day I use Rimmel glam eyes or Collection fast stroke.

I just wanted something with a little more staying power.

So far I've tried Maybelline hyper precise all day which was really dry and flakey and lacking pigment.

And I've just forked out for a Stila one which has just smudged over my lids within an hour! (I don't have oily lids either)

I wear cat flicks so want good precision and pigment. Please help!!!

The boots number 7 one is quite good in terms of staying power.

Would you consider a gel? The Bobbi brown one is excellent. I’d also highly recommend the urban decay eyelid primer for keeping everything intact!

Kiko. Their liquid eyeliner is amazing. Great pigment and stays put. I’m not sure if they have it in dark brown though.

Fucksakes. Sorry, I got an error and it’s posted multiple times. It’s great though! 😀

Don't bother with the Charlotte Tilbury one anyway. I bought it last week and it doesn't stay put. I really wish Rimmel did a brown/back version of their black one as it's cheap and brilliant!

Rimmel do a brown one but not in the shops. You can buy the Glam Eyes in dark brown on Amazon 😊 I was just wanting to find something slightly longer lasting but this has still been best so far.

Think there's a glitch as my thread posted multiple times but said it hadn't posted 🤷‍♀️ I'll take a look thanks 😊 Have recently converted to dark brown after realising that black was starting to age me a bit! Sadly there isn't as much of a range of products in this colour.

I've heard good things about that gel. I'm just so used to applying liquid I think I'm scared of trying anything else!

The Maybelline gel one in a little pot that comes with the best eyeliner brush ever is fantastic.

Bracke · 26/04/2022 11:35

This Eyeko liner was in the M&S Advent calendar - I really rate it
Eyeko Cocoa Edit

FeelinSpendy · 26/04/2022 11:43

Stila stay all day liquid eyeliner comes in dark brown and has good staying power. Everything smudges on me as I have oily eyelids, but this is one of the ones I find has the most staying power. Only think is that the ink flow is a bit inconsistent, but should be ok if you store it nib-down.
if you’re looking at gel liners, Bobbi Brown or Mac have the best gels. The Mac fluid liner comes in a couple of different brown options.

CoconutAmericano · 26/04/2022 13:26

That's great to know nodiggitynodoubt absolutely love the name by the way!

shopafrolic · 26/04/2022 15:15

This NYX liquid liner comes in brown - I've tried the black and it's pretty bombproof. NYX epic ink liner

lindyloo57 · 26/04/2022 16:28

I think they all suit different skins types, as I have tried nearly all mentioned above, and non work for me, the only one with staying power is a mac one I think its called liquidlast 24hour waterproof liner, its quite hard to get off. I don't know if its made in brown.

Polecat03 · 26/04/2022 17:51

Clinique do a dark brown in pen form which I find really nice - no running or smudging, very easy to use.
Lancome artliner comes in a brown too I'm sure, and I got on well with that one as well. The Clinique tip is finer and more rigid, depends what you prefer.

knitknack · 26/04/2022 19:19

The stilla one is awful but the Clinique version is fantastic!!

hattymattie · 26/04/2022 20:10

I use the Nyx epic liner too - tried all sorts - expensive and cheap - this one doesn't move.

Lindisfarne1 · 27/04/2022 04:35

Eyeko

LunaLovegoodsNecklace · 27/04/2022 05:33

Agree with Eyeko, the cocoa edit one in the M&S calendar. I'm also annoyed with the Stila one having bought it recently but the Eyeko one is fantastic.

Rina66 · 27/04/2022 06:07

I really like the Bobbi Brown gel too, in Sepia. Great staying power and easy to apply with their brushes.

Everydaydayisaschoolday · 27/04/2022 08:01

Benefit do a lovely brown one with a long felt tip style brush. I love it because I can wiggle it right into the root line - which sounds faintly obscene but gives a lovely natural look.
