Have been asked by SIL to look for some shorts for her DD, who is 12, but too big for the age 13 in M&S. Does anywhere else do older girl sizes? She is quite a young 12, so doesn't want to buy, say, an adult size 8/10/whatever yet.

I'd try next, they go up to age 16, they've got lots of shorts this year.

My niece who is a 12 yo buys her clothes in H&M and River Island (size 6). Agree Next is good. The Boden sale had some larger girl sizes in less grown up prints.

New Look goes up to age 14+.

Zara and Miss Selfridge have some nice ones. They go from a size 6.

Thanks all, got a pair in H&M, and one in New Look. Will now await her withering glance and instant dismissal.
