Er, why did no-one mention how brilliant Pau is for shopping? Why didn't I know this?

Found myself in Pau in SW France a few days ago.
Wow!
and lots of sales on right now too.

Did you style and beauty gurus know this? Do you keep it quiet?

infact the whole city was nice and i would move there if i could.

i love Pau - went there for a day during a walking holiday in the Auvergne a few years ago (was young and carefree and pre-children then ) don't remember the shops but will have to return there soon, clearly

Othersideofthechannel · 21/07/2010 21:15

Wow, that was a long walk Meerkate!

nevergoogle · 21/07/2010 22:09

maybe all the french cities are good for shopping, i don't know. i didn't get time to explore anywhere else despite travelling around pretty much the whole of france. the only other place we stopped was morzine and it was a bit 'fleecy' in the fashion stakes.

this is a bit spooky, never, DH just got back from morzine yesterday. a week's mountain biking, so yes - fleece central, i imagine.
thank you otherside i do pride myself on my new (winged) walking boots
