Urgent help needed re lunch date in my own garden

Please can somebody advise me what to wear tomorrow? I am having a 6th date with a guy in my own garden and i simply don't know what to wear.
I want to look like I have made an effort without looking like I am trying too hard.

Choices are either a summery dress with sandals or linen trousers and a summery top I should be able to make this decision on my own at my grand old age but for reason I am stumped today

dress. Blokes like dresses. You do realise tis going to be 100 degrees in the shade? A bikini might be a safer bet

summery dress with sandals, assuming it's comfy and cool - weather's supposed to be hot tomorrow.

Hmmm. Is it a sit at a table type date, or picnic rug on the lawn affair?

If it's the former I'd do the dress, if the latter I'd go trousers and floaty top.

It's a sit at the table type of thing and yes he does like dresses

So I think dress it is

Thanks
