I've no idea what swimsuit style suits - help!

I'm 5' 8", I've finally got back down to a size 10, 32C after baby number 3 and feel great with clothes on.

Unfortunately I don't look so good with my clothes off.

So what looks good but has excellent bust support (or they'll be down by my knees), covers my stomach (which looks flat and toned when it's not actually visible), and most importantly hides my very odd backside which is a combination of saggy skin and cellulite (nice).

Please help, I haven't a clue! And yes I realise I may be asking for the Holy Grail of swimsuits, but there must be something out there.

Lands end mix & match swimsuits are good. I have one with a skirt & a longer top - perfect.www.landsend.co.uk/ix/swimwear-swimsuits/swimwear/Women/mix-and-match-separates/index.html?seq=1~2~3 ~4&catNumbers=411~412~415&visible=1~2~1~1&store=le&sort=Recommended&pageSize=12&tab=6

Thanks blue, would it be a terrible thing to get some board shorts? My thighs really are that bad, I feel so self conscious about them. But I'd hate to look like a wannabe teenage surfer

You could get a wrap to go around. I have a skirt style & it's super in terms of cover. I also have a wrap as I've vein problems!! The ruched top can go longer or shorter & hids the flab in the ruched bits lol

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 07/07/2010 15:08

That ruched top is really nice. It looks like it gives a great shape.

I've got a few of the same issues, belly and bum must not be shown in public! I like a tankini as they hide a thousand sins and you can get some cute shorts to go with the tops too.

In terms of covering up on the beach, like bluecardi said, a wrap would be good or there's some lovely kaftans out there.

I can second the Lansend recommendation! I have a tankini with swim shorts and it is VERY flattering and the top has an underwired support which is great

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 07/07/2010 15:36

Thanks GreatO and mama, I think I'm definitely going to need a wrap of some kind and underwired is a must!

I've just bought one of the skirt style bottoms and a ruched top with detachable straps from Lands' End. I hope they're as lovely as they look!

Hope you like them! My combination gets it's third summer this year. Lasts well. I have a detachable strap top as well & it's nice to have the option.

Blue, they've arrived! I was a worried they might look a bit old and clunky, but far from it. The skirt is soooo flattering it covers all the bad bits while still looking young. Thanks for the recommendation, I'm now looking forward to wearing it on the beach (I never thought I'd say that!)
