Black and white dress - need shoe advice!

I have just bought this dress to wear to a wedding in September. (It is nicer than the picture, really). I don't really want to wear black shoes with it, but would coloured shoes look tacky? I was thinking red or pink with accessories to match.

Or am I very very wrong . . .

Just need to find some with a smallish heel - I am 5'9" and DH 5'10" and I don't want to tower above him.

I love the topshop ones tetherend. And the block colour m&s ones but not sure about the heel, is it blue?

The others are all lovely too but far too high - I have size 8 feet and don't normally wear heels and would look and walk like a transvestite in skyscraping stilettos
