Oli - blimey how unimpressed am I with Oli?

My first order with them..I ordered a dress 9 days ago from them; paid up front for it. They confirmed order/payment straight away via Email.

No dress to be seen. Rang today. They don't know what's happened. They seem completely foggy about the whole thing tbh. No sign that anything has been sent to me, nothing.

The party I wanted it for has come and gone last weekend.

Luckily I bought a gorgeous dress in the meantime from a FAB site which is wonderful. They managed to get two oders to me the very next day, beautifully packed in coloured tissue and ribbons

As for Oli that'll be it for me

ok, you now have me looking at that website and thinking or ordering! How do the sizes come up? Big / average or small? Is the quality of the fabric ok?

Sizes seem quite accurate. I ordered two dresses This one I kept and love it!

Ordered This too. Really nice, but thought I'd get more use from the green one and a better length on me.

(Purple needed high shoes as it was very long - I'm 5'9 - more for a winter dinnner and dance I thought)

Quality is v good. Material is slinky, sort of light and silky and a bit stretchy - kind of swimming costume material almost. Hangs well & very forgiving and flattering. Esp if you have a few bumps that need skimming (I do!)

Can't rate them highly enough. Esp re customer service. Have a look at their feedback on Amazon - everyone saying how good they are. I was desparate for a nice dress for a party at weekend. Couldn't find a thing in the shops and took a chance having stumbled on them online and because Oli dress I'm moaning about below never showed up.

Argh 'desperate' I mean!

I wanted a pink maxi dress. Spoke to their customer services who said order both, choose and send back the one you don't want. Which I did. Excellent!

You see it is customer service like that that will make me buy from them again and again so it really is worth their effort.

oooh, where is geordieminx?? She has major Oli issues too ..

It's unfortunate for Oli that their disappointing effort has been made to stick out even more than it might because BB seem to be exceptionally good.

I think I'd better shut up now - I don't work for them or anything! But ykwim, it makes such a nice change

I've ordered 3 things so will also feedback on them. I was going to order the print maxi but then I noticed it was handwash only - I don't do handwash!!!

Blimey! Is it just me or is the pneumaticness of the Tops model just a leetle scarey?

They seem to have someone who is not a size 6 modelling the maxi-dresses, it is very distracting.

Ok, I popped home at lunchtime and was quite surprised to find my parcel already there - it was special delivery - and FREE!!!

My verdict is that the fabric is quite cheap but surprosingly flattering - not sure how good it would be in this hot weather though as it doesn't strike me as being too breathable.

Anyway I ordered:-

this which would have been lovely if it wasn't so bloomin long. It is below knee length - almost mid calf which is not a good look for me. I would keep this one if it had been about 2 inches shorter

this for a very posh work lunch later this week which I really really like. The fabric is good and I'm probably going to keep it - just not sure about the colour and what to accessorise it with for the lunch.

this which I didn't like at all and will be sending back. Again it's too long and I just didn't like the style and the skirt has a seam running right down the middle of it BUT plus points are that considering it's white it's not see thru

I love the fact the model isn't a stupidly skinny size AND my parcel was not only wrapped in tissue paper but each dress parcel had a lolly attached to it which my kids will love!

I'm going back for a 2nd look!
