Did anyone do their own wedding makeup?

Or could you tell me about having someone else do it?

I'm not sure what to do....

Yes I did my own make-up , as I am a trained make-up artist.

However, in hindsight I wish I had just relaxed and let someone else do it as I had so many other things to do, and felt quite nervous so I was a bit shaky.

I would also loved to have spent this time sipping a glass of bubbly with my mum and bridesmaids, instead of in the bathroom trying to angle myself to get the best light!!

I would say get someone to do it. Where are you based?

Ooh - thanks for replying - I thought I was being ignored!

Anyway, in case you're still around I'm in London and the wedding is only two weeks away so it might be a bit late now anyway..

I've got a Space NK makeover coming up - hopefully they'll give me some tips, I'll buy the expensive makeup and it will all work out..

Globex there's also some great wedding make-up tutorials on Youtube.

Search for "panacea81 wedding make up" - her tutorials are really good.

I did my own.

I went to about 5 different make up counters, bought lots of products, had lots of tutorials on different things and it probably would have cost less to have someone in!

I love doing make-up anyway and it was quite relaxing.

I did my own after having a make up trial with Mac. I bought all the products they used, and I didn't look half bad on the day, even if I do say so myself!
