Purple phase eight dress

I bought a bargainous phase eight short sleeved shift dress for 26 quid reduced from £85. Its aubergine coloured. What colour cardigan and shos would I wear with it? black or white doesn't look right...

I've tried to find one and its no longer on their website or on john lewis or house of fraser or ebay...
purple shift, very jackie O, same colour belt, short sleeves ( not no sleeves)

Depending on what suits you, navy, light blue/turquoise, dark pink/magenta, lime green or red could all potentially work. (but not all together!)
