Searching for Turkish-style type mules or sandals ... anyone?

I'm looking for some some comfortable sandals for my holidays - for the slightly more formal 'shopping in town" bits - not the beach/casual bits.

I'm looking for a specific type of mule or sandal:

• in 'espadrille' or other fabric or other natural material (maybe in stripes - terracota colours if poss)

• want a style if poss that cuts straight across foot (not rounded like ballet flats)

• the ones I am thinking of are slightly turkish in style

• not clompy

Any ideas anyone???? Please????

Ideally, they would be flat-ish - with small heel -

a bit like this ie toe/front bit the same but backless and poss with stripey (think espadrille material with kilim stripes)

in fact a bit like this but more elegant/sophisticated - not as 'ethnic'

Yes! In terms of shape (although would prefer a little less clompy as have very spindly ankles - only bit of me that is thin mind you))

and less biker-ish/leathery

and a bit more elegant/natural fabric
