Black Tie Dress

Hi ladies

I'm normally a lurker on here and have seen how excellent many of you are at suggesting gorgeous outfits for desperate ladies! I'd now like to take advantage of your expertise.

I need a black tie outfit for a couple of events coming up soon. I had my first baby in Feb so my body is not what it was and therefore my existing 'frocks' won't do!

I'm 32, 5'7 about 10.5 stone, which is about 0.5 stone over my usual weight. I am usually an hour glass but the extra half stone is sitting on my tum/bum. My usual style is quite fitted (pencil skirt ish) but not sure this will work for me at moment even with aid of Spanx.

Also, one of the events is a work thing and rather shallowly I want to look fab and everyone to say they can't believe I've just had a baby!!

Budget about £150-£200 but would pay more for 'the' dress!

Thanks

What about something like this?

Does it have to be long?

Wow, I would never normally look at something like that - my usual style is very boring/safe, but maybe now is the time for a change!
I think a trip to London may be in order as my first reaction is a 'no' but then I've never tried anything like that.
It doesn't have to be long - although obviously not too short!
Thanks
