Any St Moriz fake tan mousse users out there? I have a question or two

Have just used this for the first time ever today (just on my legs).

After the initial panic over the colour it comes out of the pump and the colour it turned my hands, all has turned out well ie. no streaks or patchiness.

However its not as dark as I'd hoped, in fact its barely changed the colour of legs at all -they had a bit of colour from the Johnsons Holiday Skin I'd been using.

On the bottle it says to re-use in 5-7 days for a mid tan. Why do you have to leave it that long? What would happen if I used it again tomorrow for example?

Also, I'm interested to know what the results are like if you've used it anywhere else other than on your legs. Would you have to get someone else to apply it?

Ive used this as a cheap alternative to St Tropez. It looks more dramatic when you put it on but a lot of it washes off and leaves barely any colour. Ive used it again the next day and prob the day after that too. I think they say leave it a few days so it wears off evenly. Ive got 3 coats on of St Tropez atm that i done 3 days in a row and its wearing off slightly patchy.
I always use it everywhere, with a bit of flexibility i manage to do it on my own.
Defo always wear latez gloves too, i hate tan hands.

I might risk another go tomorrow then.

I'm surprised at how even it looked after todays application though I must say.

Any more feedback before I risk my legs ending up looking like half a mahogany dining table as that is not the look I am after

I use ST Moriz - it develops after a few hours and then when you shower, you do get a lot come off but i find im left with a nice dark tan ( i am very generous when applying lol), or you can do it on 2 consecutive days if you like.

Another tip is exfoliate before applying but only moisturise the dry areas as this can dilute the tanner and make it lighter/streaky.

And one final tip - to stop it from wearing off patchy, moisturise daily with an oil free body lotion - Nivea Happy time is really good for this....

Ooh and definitely go for latex gloves!! I also slip a sock over the gloves to make sure i get a totally even finish too.

Me - and love it. I'm incredibly pale skinned, so it suits me perfectly, as I've always ended up looking a bit freaky with other, more expensive fake tans.

I exfoliate the day before, moisturise that morning, put it on in the evening so it's on overnight, then shower in the morning and it leaves the right golden glow rather than scary brown. I use it about once a week, and use one of these velour mitt things for applying fake tan as I found latex gloves make it a bit streaky on my skin.
