I tried on these trousers in Jaeger the other day. They fit perfectly, and are just above ankle length on me (instead of far too long), actually they look fairly like peg trousers, and are a beautiful silky fabric, hang beautifully. But sooo expensive? What should I do?

In my experience if you find a pair of really well-fitting trousers you should buy them.
Think of cost per wear, I bet you wear them 100 times in the next 18 months.

They look lovely, and they aren't too hideously expensive, like two pairs of cheap and cheerful trousers. If they suit your shape and you love them then buy them because it is hard to get great trousers. In fact buy them in two different colours! the style is pretty timeless.

I agree, good trousers are well worth the money

CluelessFrump · 01/07/2010 21:50

yes- I have a pair of jaeger trousers that I found in a charity shop, and they are fantastic

there is a similar pair in M&S Autograph though, bit cheaper, but they are really nice (I've had them for about a month, and love them), and they are much longer in rl as I am 5'0", but still cigarette pant length.

don't think i would spent that amount on trousers. maybe a dress or jacket

teta · 01/07/2010 21:56

Get them - they are a really nice shape. Also i don't think Jaeger clothes[like Maxmara] date.

I would get them, its so difficult to get trousers that fit right. You will def get your moneys worth.
