Please help me find a dress for my ds' christening

I'm 5 foot 4, size 8/10 and age 40.

Hate my leg's above the knee and don't want to appear 'muttony'!

Just don't know where to start.

Budget £50 approx

Any suggestions or recommended websites would be a massive help, even just to give me some ideas.

Boden sale?

It has just started - I would try that first!

or this

that's the one i was looking at, do you think the black and white animal spot is a bit much for a christening or to go for a floral option. think i know what you're going to say though!

Ahem, I would get them both and send back the one I liked least. Personally, I think the floral is very pretty, and had my eye on it for the sale (it's not in my size) but I note that it comes up very green, according to the reviews (which we now can't access). So great if you're a redhead say, but green does not suit everyone.

The animal spots might be a bit less Bodeny, if that matters to you.

We are C of E and it wouldn't occur to me the spots were "too much" for a christening.
