We did the Avon thing a while ago and it didn't work that well.

However, recently met some guys that had just finished the West Highland way and they gave us what was left of their midge repellent - they said it worked well and is the stuff they were given by their work (Army or Navy ,can't remember which).

Anyway it's called 3M Ultrathon Insect Repellent. It contains 34% DEET !!! Blimey.

Haven't tried it yet but these guys said it worked. Good luck.

DEET. I don't like the Avon stuff because even though it's supposedly dry oil it's greasy.

I use Jungle as we are in a high midgie area.

Mozzi Off for the under 6-year-olds.
