Really want a pair of Swedish Hasbeens but they're way too £££ for me.

Some genius MNer pointed me in the direction of Lotta from Sweden, and I adore these.

OTOH, the other top S&B tip was these, which I didn't like quite so much - but have just had another look and they're only £22.

I can't decide. Am a natural cheapskate, so pulled towards the ASOS ones, and do already have strappy brown sandals with wooden heels. OTOH don't want to always look at the ASOS ones and regret them.

What is the consensus? Would you rather have slightly higher and open-toed, or lower and closed? Which will be nicer with dresses?

i like them both but the first, more expensive ones are nicer and would look better for dresses. I used to have a pair just like the second though and i wore them to death.

I like the first one's, a lot more versatile than the other.

Thanks - I think you're both right.

OK, better start putting some stuff on ebay...

Definitely the first.

Fuck it, get both- still be only half the price of the hasbeens

I've got the first ones and they're gorgeous and comfortable. Much prettier than the second ones, IMO. £45 isn't outrageous.
