Sun hats that don't make you look a plonker?

Will not do fishing style hats or caps. Don't like bandanas.

But my head gets so hot when walking, we walk alot!

Also my mum had a malignant melanoma on her head a few years ago so really think I should start covering up!

Your head will get even hotter if you wear a hat though.

Noo, i wear DHs hat esometimes when desperate, I mean the top of my head burns!

Get a floppy style sun hat - those trilbys don't look like great sun coverage, more fashion. I am have a look for a straw like (i.e holey) floppy type, am thinking of the same thing I am getting very freckly face and shoulders despite sun cream.

here though I have seen them more holey than that....

this I like , much wider brim than the trilbys, they are actually meant to be a sun shielding hat (origionally)

Alot of hat wearing is in the confidence, I know the fedora looks abit "OMG, I am a twat in a hat" but it has a decent brim. I feel a right wally when I put on a hat, or sunglasses - like I am trying to be trendy but bugger it, pick the best you can for sun cover (even I draw the line at those ones with flaps on your neck though!) and shove it on your head with an air of "yeah, I am wearing a hat...and?"

They have a great range on there, and as a fan of hats, I've picked up quite a few bargains on there.
