Can anyone suggest a bikini for my slim, broad-shouldered nearly-teen DD?

She is nearly 13, tall and slim, with long legs and broad shoulders.

She wants a bikini for the summer but I'm having trouble finding something suitable for her shape (teeny bust), that is not to grown up and not too little girly. Any suggestions?

What about something by Roxy? They tend to have sporty styles, some with shorts so not too skimpy. Nice bright colours and go down to size 6, would that fit your DD?

Roxy - isn't that surfer chick style? She has just said she wants stripes, nautical style.

Not shorts but no tiny tie-sided bottoms either.

Roxy

Here's a stripy one - the bottoms have a bow, but it's not tie-side.

That's the sort of thing, well done scurry!

She loves it but I think the bottoms are a bit on the skimpy side...

Yes she saw that one Esmee but it's sold out in her size

Not sure bandeau style would stay up on her teeny bust. But good bottoms on that one

A little but maybe buy a separate pair of bottoms to mix and match

castille · 30/06/2010 17:42

Bottoms too skimpy on the Boots one, Pixie

this?

scurryfunge · 30/06/2010 17:54

quite pricey

castille · 30/06/2010 17:58

Good one Esmee, she likes that a lot and I approve.

Though is a halter neck good for the broad shouldered or not? She doesn't want to look like an olympic swimmer

She's a 30AA too, or thereabouts.

That's lovely scurry, but too ££ so I won't show her that one!

ah, sorry

PlumSykes · 30/06/2010 18:08

Gap, Next or Primark

castille · 30/06/2010 18:47

Debenhams both good - she likes

Gap would be great but I have no access to one. She doesn't like the Next ones.
