My legs are not my best feature. I can fit them into size 12 jeans ok, but they are shapeless and on the flabby side.
This summer i'm trying to be a bit more 'summery', and have bought a few nice summer dresses. I'm scared of going bare legged (perhaps I should have thought of this before purchasing!). Now, one of the dresses is denim, and the other has lots of black on it, so I could wear them both with black tights, but if its really hot i'll just look stupid.
Do people wear nude tights?
Is it acceptable ever?
What are the do's and don'ts?
Also, I have several pairs of peep toe shoes. Is there any way round showing the toe bit of the tights? Do people cut the toes off?
If nude tights are a fashion no no, then is there any alternative? I see topshop have some nice looking black mesh tights, or are they strictly for teenagers? I'm 29, 5ft8 and often get people thinking I'm about 22, so I could get away with a youthful look, but not a teenage one!
