URGENT assistance needed re: Karen Millen and Ted Baker

I am currently watching/bidding on several lovely dresses on Ebay.

If I shop in Coast, Laura Ashley, Per Una, LK Bennett, Hobbs, I am usually a 12. But I'm not a real 12 - more of a 14 with a small waist, big bum, big boobs.

If I am buying Karen Millen and Ted Baker will a 12 be OK, or do they come up realistically sized small? And are they cut for an hourglass, or will I end up with a baggy waisted 14, or a too-tight on the hips 12?

Thank you!

I think they come up on the smaller side and certainly KM is not cut for big boobs if the dresses are very fitted on top.

They come up smaller. I am a 12 in H&M and could fit a 10 in Coast if not for my boobs. But Ted Baker I'm easily a 14.

I'm usually a 10 in Coast but would confidently expect to need a 14 in Karen Millen.

As the others have said, they come up small.

Incidentally, I thought Ted Baker stuff came in sizes 1,2,3,4 rather than 8,10,12, etc. I bought a dress from there at the end of last year and I have just checked the label - it is a size 1 which equates to a 6/8.

The ebay seller has probably accounted for their weird sizing but do make sure!

Oh thanks!!! You've just saved me from several very expensive mistakes! I didn't check the TED Baker sizes, Onefish, I was just watching a couple of nice specimens and wondering if I should risk it....

Also watching some Jaeger stuff, (which will come up massive) and some Coast and Monsoon which will be my perfect fit providing I pick the style carefully, so my brain is all over the place as to which size to put in the search engine. Can't believe some of the lovely bargainous thigs on there.

iF YOU ARE LEANING TOWARDS A 14, then I would say a 12 in Karen Millen will be too small. They tend to be on the smaller side and B / c cups. That being said, I suppose it depends on the style.

sorry about the caps !
