sent back 2 parcels last week and still not paid back. Wonder if they'll beat the record set by wrap who took 2 weeks to pay back.

Yes!! it has taken 2 weeks for my recent refunds....

upahill · 29/06/2010 09:44

I've had no problem in the past

HappyHome · 29/06/2010 10:10

Hi, I have never had a refund go through without having to chase them after 4 weeks and fax through copies of my return notes. For this reason I no longer shop with them online

claireinthecommunity · 29/06/2010 10:15

Always at least two weeks here.

cornsilk5793 · 29/06/2010 10:15

Same as HappyHome here - I noticed there was no refund on my credit card (amazing in itself 'cos I never check it and am useless with money)and so emailed them about it. Didn't hear anything back, so a few days later I phoned them and their systems were down, so next day I phoned them and they said it was never received. So I had to fax them the post office receipt and then they refunded me within a few days. All in all, it took about 7 weeks to get my money back.
Hope you kept your receipt from the post office??

flowerybeanbag · 29/06/2010 11:22

Yes they are rubbish. They sent me the wrong size in something recently, I packed it up immediately and sent it back, requesting the correct size be sent.

I heard nothing for 3 weeks, then emailed them. Received no response, then a few days later got an automated 'your order has been despatched' email saying the correct size had been sent.

It did arrive, complete with an invoice for some random t-shirt.

Took about a month in all, and no real person acknowledged me in that time.

No more online White Stuff shopping for me.

EldonAve · 29/06/2010 11:23

I am also waiting on a refund having emailed the proof of posting to them last week

cornsilk5793 · 29/06/2010 11:23

7 weeks!Yikes!
The first parcel has just been refunded so .
I sent a second one a few days later so will dig out the post office receipt for that one now.

I've just had a (nearly) disastrous time with refunds. I sent back two fairly large parcels and neither of them were refunded. After several emails and calls chasing the refunds (they claimed they hadn't received either parcel - very dodgy I think, as I'd posted them on different days and the chance of both going missing in the post must be remote) I eventually got access to a scanner and emailed the proofs of postage over. Still nothing and eventually I got though to a person again and this time they just took my word for it and issued a refund to my credit card! It took about 10 weeks all in, and i would never shop with them again were it not that they are the best fit for trousers that I've found in years and I live miles from the nearest real WS shop. Dare I try again at sale time?

Busylee · 05/07/2010 08:22

I'm another one waiting on a refund. I've sent them a stroppy letter and proof of postage. I do all my clothes shopping on-line and this is the only company that I've ever had trouble with refunds from and regularly have to chase them up.

florenceuk · 05/07/2010 10:03

Another sad person here - I returned a top and only noticed some time later that there was no refund. by then the proof of posting had gone astray so no chance of refund. like others, I try not to order stuff online from them - luckily there is now a shop near me in Kingston. I hope somebody emails this thread to White Stuff!

I know this is an old thread but its exactly my experience. Posted a parcel on the 4th April and i am still waiting for a refund. Seriously, how long can it take? Its ridiculous! Im getting a bit annoyed! I have had this before as i shop with them quite often and have emailed in the past and got a response about x amount of working days and to contact them only when this has passed. Very irritating. If they dont like getting emails, they should make their system far better.

Darkchocsprinkles · 14/04/2015 09:55

Only company I have ever had trouble with - I returned a large parcel which also went 'astray', and by the time I knew about it I had lost my proof of posting. Cost me a fortune. Sounds like this happens a lot Hmm

Greengardenpixie · 14/04/2015 10:29

Oh what a shame. I have still got my proof of posting. Its interesting how different companies can be. I mean, on the same day i posted a parcel back to asos and had my refund ages ago!
I want my money back. Its so annoying. Its only £29 but still. Have also sent a pair of short crops back [ have proof of posting with them too]. I mean how long will they take too. I have had refunds but it has taken ages. What on earth goes on? How can a company do so badly and another do it so quickly?

SwedishEdith · 14/04/2015 10:33

Find the name of the CEO on google and email them/tweet them? I had a problem with Dune a while ago and the CEO replied by about 9:05 to the email I'd sent the evening before.

Greengardenpixie · 14/04/2015 10:59

Well i emailed customer services so will wait until i hear from them but if not satisfied i will totally do that!!! Thanks! :)
