I don't know what to do. I've got a long commute so would end up holding the dress etc if I don't wear it but feel it would be a bit minging in this weather to wear it all day and then to this posh do at night, with work. Saying that, not overly posh but smart, so dress would fit in at work.

Would what everyone else do?

Definately change of outfit needed in this heat.

I'd take a separate dress in. You can hang it up on the train/in the car. How heavy can a dress be?

MmeRedWhiteandBlueberry · 28/06/2010 22:37

Normally I would say fine, but this heat is horrid.

Maybe you don't sweat much like I do but think a change of outfit would be nice to feel fresh

puppa · 28/06/2010 22:41

i agree u really need another dress for ur do as really muggy and u will feel horrible in same one, and u might wanna take some wipes, to freshen up, hope u have a nice time x

Have just got back from a long day with train journey in unbearable heat- set out looking quite passable in pale blue and white linen...minging can only begin to describe my state by the time I got back. TBH a change of clothes alone would not have sufficed.
If no shower, you will have to get busy with the baby wipes!
