I need some hair help if there are any hairdressers on here! My boyfriend has been dying his hair very blonde (when he's naturally quite a dark brown) for about 4 years now. He decided that he still wanted it to be blonde but not so peroxidey and so his hair was bleached as usual. After it had all been washed out etc, a Boots Botanics dye in the 'caramel brown' colour was applied. Unfortunately, it now looks like he's naturally very ginger and that he's just done a half hearted attempt at dying his hair blonder! I suppose it could be described as a kind of 'strawberry blonde' now, there's rather a lot of red in it. Would anybody be able to recommend what to do now? Ideally he'd still like it to be dark blonde, but how would he go about this?! Should he just completely re-bleach it blonde again? Could anybody recommend any particular brand/colour of dye? Would really appreciate any help with this! Thank you x
