what after 110miles and you tell me theres a frecking hill..somerset and wiltshire hills are monster - you are kidding me I did the 3 miles hill out of dulverton in one go, 1in5 25% is it that big?

thanks though you have been really helpful, we love cycling and dad has cycled around bath and chew before with my mum - so had an idea about the canal but not been a local wasn't sure how far or easy it was.

Hmmm, gradients. I couldn't tell you tbh. But I don't think it's that big.

Bath is all hills (hence I like the canal - tis flat of course!). You'd think I'd be used to it but no, I generally push my bike up hills

I will, we are going to book up the campsite, dad will not look at chewmagan - and insists we book your recomendation! and try the pub. He can remember years ago eating on a pub on the canal with my mum but wants to try your suggestion.

iam going to leave on the wednsday night and head south stopping on the way overnight.

Saturday rest day then Sunday ride back north and Monday hopefully get home
