Girly one! How do I get soft wavy hair? What am I doing wrong?

I have the sort of hair that would naturally go into wave if I didn'tblow dry and straighten. However intially the wave will be lovely but over the course of the day go into a bush. Tried putting a firm, volume mouse on it this morn, but then it just looked sticky and really thick. Not a bit cute. Is my problem the mouse, or what am I doing wrong?

I just sniggered at the thought of putting a mouse in your hair, it would look a bit of a mess as the mouse is probably making a nice nest in it.

Mousse is quite sticky stuff, would it work better if you used a serum instead. Or try a pre-wash conditioner, for instance Philip Kingsley's Elasticizer.

There are a couple of things I've used to control my hair. Bumble and Bumble defrizz, grooming creme and brilliantine. I love them all and use them all in different ways. If you go here you can read reviews on all of them. They come in different sizes too and I only buy a small and fairly cheap size as I don't use much of it. If you shop around online, you can find the brand on some discount sites such as this one which also offers free UK delivery.
