Bra strap holders?

Was reading a blog by someone in the US and she mentioned getting bra strap holders put on her sleeveless tops - I imagine they are something you sew into the top to keep bra straps in place & invisible... Does anyone know if you can get them in the UK (maybe in the haberdashery section of JL?)

Visible bra straps are a bit of a bugbear for me!

you can diy it with a teeny piece of ribbon stitched on at one end with a little press stud on the other.

the other half of the press stud stitched on the top.

wow thats cool.

But what does one do about VSTL? (Visible Strap trap lumps)

the ribbon and teeny press stud one is used in expensive garments, invisible to outward experience.

the strap trap one does look interesting though, might get some.

my mum has a face that she makes about visible bra straps so am well versed in avoiding it.

She still mourns the demise of the bra slip, an excellent way to avoid multiple shoulder straps, because no slip is unthinkable clearly!

Ooh thanks for the link Lady. A bit pricy if you have lots of tops though but I might order a couple and see if they are worth it....
