la-brasiliana.com - does this require a special shampoo?

I had this treatment and they didn't mention that I had to use a special treatment, but on the website it does mention low sodium shampoos. I don't want to buy an expensive shampoo if I don't need to, but I don't want to ruin the treatment by using the wrong treatment! any body had this particular treatment?

Is it a Brazilian/permanent blow dry?

If so, they try to flog you "special" shampoos but you can use anything really. The only advice is to try to avoid shampoos containing sodium chloride (salt). You don't need to buy a £15 salon shampoo. I've got nice shampoos from the health food shop that are sodium chloride free. Just check the ingredients.

Yes, 12 weeks they claim. I'm surprised they didn't try to sell me any products tbh.

Thanks, I will look on the ingredients of my various shampoos now.
