Organising my clothes- help needed!

Having a clear out and getting rid of things i dont want just reminds me of how many clothes i have that i love, but never wear, as i forget i own them in the first place!

Currenty have very limited storage space SO my idea is to catalogue all items I am keeping, along with a printed out photograph (nothing fancy, just on bog- standard paper) in a folder i can look through when i get dressed. Just to make it easier to see what I have and make decisions.

Have any of you done anything similar? I am worried i will spend loads of time setting up the system and discover a flaw! Or are there better ways of organisjng your clothes?

Thank you!

Blimey that's very proactive. I'm impressed and would love to have a system like that.
Can't think of any better ways.
Do you put away your summer/winter clothes after each main season? My mum does this and finds she has a lovely free wardrobe and no clutter. saying that, they do have a spare wardrobe in my old room so she keeps the out of season stuff in there I think.

A few months ago I turned all my hangers the wrong way round in my wardrobe. Every time I wear something I turn the hanger the correct way round. In a while anything that remains on a backwards hanger is going in the bin. I've already realsied over the last couple of months I only actually wear about 25% of the clothes I own!
