Another wedding day shoe crisis........

I'm having a rather difficult time finding some shoes and wondered if someone, anyone can help me please!
I want something a bit different and preferably purple to wear under my dress (which is ivory) and I'm running out of time.
I really like these but having tried some others on in the shop today, they might be a bit "toey" (where you can see half your toes poking out the top).

Any ideas? Not too fussy about what shade of purple, just need something not too high and not too plain.

Please will someone help me, I only have 20 days to go until the day I wear the fabuulous shoes!!!

Considering ivory with a pattern shoes now too as well as the potential purple pair.

Right... what size/budget?

Do you want closed toe or sandal/peep toe?

How do you feel about these?

tethersend · 20/06/2010 19:52

Or these?

OhCobblers · 20/06/2010 19:56

you could look for a pair that you like on this website but have them dyed? though not sure if they can do them on time but worth a look?

These?

Thanks Tethersend,
Both links are going through to the general hobbs shoe page. Looked through and quite like the rose court and the purple on at the bottom of the page.

Wondering if they are special enough though or am I trying too hard do you think?

I have size 5 - 6 wide feet. Not good in a peep toe as my toes don't peep!

Oh and budget can be pretty much anything now!

These?

OhCobblers · 20/06/2010 20:05

sorry for hijacking but Tethersend i've just looked at the Kate Kanzier website for the first time - they're very reasonably priced!

have you bought from them before - are they very good value? TIA

tethersend · 20/06/2010 20:05

These?

Agree about the hobbs ones not being special enough actually... will keep looking

tethersend · 20/06/2010 20:06

Not bought anything from them yet, but have heard good reviews... am after some of the brogues myself...

chocoholic · 20/06/2010 20:07

Just been trawling through the rainbow website but don't think they will be for me.
Shops are too far from me & not enough time to order, try on, send back for dyeing etc

any good?

tethersend · 20/06/2010 20:12

These are nice...

tethersend · 20/06/2010 20:13

As are these. Bargain, too.

chocoholic · 20/06/2010 20:13

I'm liking the irregular choice ones. Bit busy but they might go well with a big ivory dress.

tethersend · 20/06/2010 20:14

x-post ticktock, but they are much cheaper from JL...

tethersend · 20/06/2010 20:15

Which IC ones, choco?

I like those ravel ones ticktock liked to too

tethersend · 20/06/2010 20:16

Also nice but maybe not weddingy enough

chocoholic · 20/06/2010 20:18

Hang on, let me catch up!

I've been admiring the ravel daze purple ones. Liking them a lot. Trying to decide if they are too wintery for a summer wedding.

JL ones no good, tried them on today and they don't like my hugely wide feet.

IC one are the can can ones, not seen others yet
