Straight perm (Wella strate) - anyone had?

I'm getting this done in a couple of weeks time - it costs about £50 as opposed to ££££ for a Brazilian Blow Dry, so I'm hoping it has good results!

Anyone had one before? Or tried L'Oreal Xtenso, which is meant to be similar?

i ve had the extenso. it was good as in it tamed my locks a bit, but i have a lot of long thick hair. i still had to style it if i wanted it to look groomed, but it was quicker, and when i did nothing at all, then it was not quite the wild cavewoman look i would have otherwise.
i had the japanese yukot treatment twice. absolutely amazing. get that if you can.

I'd love the Yuko stuff, but it's even more expensive than Brazilian blow drying. I just want something to reduce my straightening time, and if I do have to go out without straightening it first, then it doesn't look horrendous.

in that case, i can definitly recommend the xtenso.
