I tried on perfume at the airport and loved it, but was in a hurry and didn't buy it...can you help me figure out what it was called or where I can buy it, with only the vaguest of descriptions???????

It was at Belfast International Airport
It was Japanese looking packaging
Possibly anime style package (but I can't really remember)
The one I tried on was something like musk/baby powder, there where about 6 fragrances in the range.
The box it came in was rectangular, can't remember what the bottle looked like.

I'd really like to find in in an actual shop, as I like to smell all of them...the one I tried on was not necessarily the one I'd buy

A bit of a long shot, and vague I know and google has not helped in the slightest!

could you call the airport shop?

KnickKnack · 20/06/2010 13:18

They had several similar brands, so I may not necessarily have enough info for her to tell me the name of the one I want.

Also the woman working there was a bit snooty and scary and not the approachable type!

Sounds like one of those tester type boxes - really go way to try perfumes. I have a dior box like this - always look out for them at airports

SkipHopJump · 20/06/2010 13:21

Was it these?

bran · 20/06/2010 13:28

Could it have been Philosophy? It's not Japanese, but they do have one called Baby Grace.

ItalyLovingMummy · 20/06/2010 13:47

It wasn't Harishuku Lovers by Gwen Stefani was it? There are four different bottles, love, angel, music and baby I think.

sharbiebowtiesarecool · 20/06/2010 13:55

I was gonna say Gwen Stefani range

KnickKnack · 20/06/2010 13:56

The Harishuku Lovers one might be it!

The outer box looks very familiar...
but the actual bottle itself wasn't that doll shape, it was just a plainish rectangular bottle (I think)

Aha the plain shaped bottle is the tester! here

Thanks all!

Can anyone tell me why the 100ml tester is cheaper than the 10 and 30ml sprays?? all say EDT spray.

KnickKnack · 20/06/2010 14:12

LaDiDaDi · 20/06/2010 14:13

I've seen them in Debenhams

1footinfront · 20/06/2010 14:14

They also sell them in Boots and I think H. Of fraser.

I have "love", its lushious!

'Lil' Angel is a woman who is compassionate and caring towards others, but is no saint. She sports a classy, yet sexy, schoolgirl outfit complete with a plaid pleated miniskirt, white knee highs, and shiny black Mary Janes.'

This is s description of the woman who wears such a scent according to the blurb.....

1footinfront · 20/06/2010 15:30

Classy yet sexy schoolgirl outfit

Nice!

KnickKnack · 20/06/2010 15:49

is that not a description of the character on the bottle?? NOT a description of the person who might wear the perfume! lol

highly irrelevant to whether or not the perfume smells nice

Its cheaper because you are not getting the fancy bottle...is it nice?I need some new perfume..I have just run out of DKNY green..its lovely and summery but expensive.

KnickKnack · 20/06/2010 20:38

one persons nice can be another persons revolting Bish! I think its really hard to advise someone on perfume as we all will have such different tastes. Plus I was in Duty Free so the air was probably a mish mash of smells anyway.
I liked all the Harajuku Lovers I tried, not to OTT.

bishboschone · 21/06/2010 04:00

Ok thanks I'll try it anyway
