I have dark brown hair and haven't had my hair coloured for 10 months. Its cheesing me off now though as I feel its dragging my skin tone down and I look sallow. About 2 years ago I had caramel, honey and toffee colours in my hair and it did look nice. I don't want to go darker as my hair is fine and long (although there is alot of it). I need to watch my money at the moment and was wondering if a home colour to lighten my hair to a light brown shade would be any good - or indeed if I should keep my money and wait another agonising three months until I can afford a salon! Can anyone recommend anything please? My skin tone is warm if that helps.
