Sandels/shoe help please!

I need a pair of shoes/sandels to match this dress that I am wearing to a wedding in September. The wedding is a very small affair, approx 20, and is a daytime/early evening event. The last time I wore a dress was 8 years ago! I am fairly tall and can't manage heels over 3 inches, I prefer 2-2.5 inches really. It has been stressful enough finding a dress and now I haven't got a clue about footwear. What would you wear with this dress? BTW the dress is the espresso colour.

oooo, i love the idea of the pashmina, thanks! Yes, I do want UK sites for shoes, I just ordered the dress from the US. I like the idea of gold, but am more of a silver girl myself. Would silver go do you think?
