15 or so years ago I used to have hot oil treatments on my dry hair at the hairdresser; they were fab - made my hair silky and smooth and lasted for ages. Nowadays I have deep-conditioning treatments that are nowhere near as good but no one seems to do hot oil treatments anymore - why is that? I've even tried the VO5 ones from Boots at home but it doesn't seem to work for me .
