Had a fantastic day, enjoyed looking at what everyone was wearing as much as the horses ! Most people looked fab and clearly had gone to a lot of effort. I felt great in my maxi dress and everyone I saw in one looked good too so I must disagree with most of you on that point !
Things that did look a bit dodgy were nice dresses with flat sandals, I know they are comfy but an outfit needs a bit of height ( can get away with flats with a maxi )
Also young girls with short short dresses coming to just under their bums who didnt have the legs for it, they would have looked fabulous in something longer.
Lastly when you go to a posh occasion dont end the day by having a girlie scrap in the loos as thats not a good look !
