DD has one, she loves it. It fits an A4 folder, lunchbox, water bottle and has room left for toys

blowninonabreeze · 18/06/2010 22:24

Really Really stupid question, DD starts reception in September and the school sells what they call "book bags" Will she need a school bag as well in addition to this? What will she put in it?

Sorry to hijack your thread

FranSanDisco · 18/06/2010 22:28

Normally a book bag is enough. Dc's aren't allowed back packs as they is lack of storage space so therefore they have a flat book bag which goes in their tray. Lunchbags are hung in a main area in the hall. Find out from the school what they suggest before spending out imho.
