Been searching since DD was about 1. Shes now 2.5 years. Still not found trousers to fit her waist. She has pop belly and even ones with adjustable waist are too tight. Just want jeans with soft wide elastic banded waist. Sometimes see them for babies but not for toddlers.

Going spare. She only ever wears leggings.

Any tips??!!!

How about buying cropped trousers in an older size?

What is a pop belly? If you mean she has quite a big tummy, that is quite normal for toddlers.

Most jeans from normal shops have adjustable waists nowadays don't they? The ones with buttons on a piece of elastic in the waistband.

have you tried boys jeans in tesco/asda etc? we have the opposite problem and ds has always been tall and skinny, i've always found supermarket trousers to be really huge on the waist. likewise, i recently bought ds (now 4) some jeans girls age6 (i think they must be girls as they look a bit girly) in tkmaxx cos they are slim fitting and dont make him look like a sack of spuds.
