I think it definitely errs on frumpy or rather to be worn by a certain type of woman.

Some times the jackets alone can work with jeans but I'm not a chanel fan really.

If I had one (I wish!) I'd split it and wear the jacket with jeans over a white vest with pearls perhaps and the skirt with opaque tights, black top and a leather jacket.

However if I'd inherited one I'd wear it but wouldn't buy one
