Need some help to find some shoes please...

My Brothers wedding is in 4 weeks I have found and bought my dress, But spent more than I had budgeted, but loved it so much I had to have it.
I now need shoes to coordinate, but have a slight problem in that the reception venue does not allow stilletto/kitten heels as it will ruin the floor.

Any suggestions gratefully received, not even sure what colour shoes would be best, let alone style

Oh yes and this is the dress

Would you be allowed an espadrille wedge type heel, they are softer and usually have a plastic soft heel?

Id go for a camel/ sand type heeled espadrille type sandal.?

That dress is stunning, I want it!

Love 1foot x

at not allowing stilletos

Monsoon

If you are "allowed" wedges these are rather nice and i think the colour would go well?

Otherwise if you have to wewar flats?? Then maybe something like these or the leather flip flop types.

The problem with these is that they tend to have really shiny soles and on a buffed floor one can really go flying.....

flats in monsoon

Cant believe lack of heels allowed. That is very poor

These ? I have just bought some and they are amazingly comfortable. The leather is v soft and does not cut in, and wedge heel is nice and "sturdy". And really quiet bargainiferous.

tennisballsinsocks · 17/06/2010 21:36

think a wedge would be acceptable.
I am very traumatised a not being allowed proper heels.
Feeling rebellious I may have to get some anyway, for ceremony and photos - then change into flats for the reception.
Will probably be kicking my shoes off at some point anyway due to alcohol consumption and the fact its a barndance!!

liking the monsoon wedges though

They are nice, but not quite glam enough, That is the sort of shoe I wear on a daily basis and I suppose I was hoping for something more weddingy iyswim
