I had one done a few weeks ago. It was fab straight after said tan was put on, but the following morning Oh My Word!!!! I had to beg my mother to drop DDs off at school. OOmpa Lumpa who's been tangoed springs to mind. A couple of days later after a few showers and the colour calmed down it looked great.

Am sure Op's looks fab though

Condensedmilkaddict · 17/06/2010 15:17

Can I ask - does it smell?

I had one a few months ago and it smelt awful - like squished ants.

I always stink like a curry after any kind of fake tan treatment.

CheeeseOnToast · 17/06/2010 15:31

what kind of spray tan was it Alaska? A booth one, or a person spraying you?

i am not going on hols this year so i am planning on getting a spray tan so I look like I have

Condensedmilkaddict · 17/06/2010 15:33

Thank you SloanyPony.

Have always wanted to know if others had the same issue.

secretly worried my beautician hates me and uses the cheap stuff on me

God - I love a spray tan.

By the way - today purchased eye brightener, pot rouge and doublewear .

You should be on commission.

I so need a fake tan, got a backless halterneck dress to wear in a couple of weeks time and it is going to look awful with a pale, pasty white back.

LimaCharlie · 17/06/2010 17:32

IME fake tans look great for 3 days and then go all blotchy - one of the Mums at school has addressed that problem by having a spray tan twice a week to keep up the perma-tanned WAG look

LynetteScavo · 17/06/2010 17:35

It was fake bake? So it will be paler when you ahve a shower.

I think sudo is fab, but no one around here seems to do it anymore (apart from one place with a narky therapist so i won't go there)

Did you have to do the 'lift your norks' thing?

A friend was mortified to have to lift her more than ample norks out of the way (to avoid a white stripe ) for ultra young and skinny beauty therapist to spray underneath them. That was on top of the paper knickers humiliation that she wasn't quite ready for.

purepurple · 17/06/2010 20:28

Do you look like this?
